Hello Loyal followers,
Today was very hot and sticky and I'm glad I managed to get my walking done in good time. It was difficult and at times very lonely on the road. We are at Seeley's Bay just north of Kingston. Overnight tonight we are staying at the United Church that Minister Don Stiles has offered us. He talked to his congregation on Sunday and let them know that I was passing through if they wanted to come and meet with me. I thought that was very nice of him. Meeting so many nice people who seem to appreciate my effort.
I miss home so much.
Rob misses home too.
Glad we have each other.   xo to all
Lynn

Here we are again in Outlet having a coffee having just packed up from our second night at Charleston Lake Provincial Park. Yesterday was a very good walk - the weather cooperated except for about a 10 minute downpour, then I was off again to finish the day. I walked a little more than I had to but I was motoring and didn't want to stop. Rob's Mom and Dad and sister met me and we walked together for a few kilometres west of Lansdowne. Today, I'm walking to Joyceville just north of Kingston with an overnight stay at Seeley's Bay United Church. Thanks for following me. I love the encouragement and support because it is not always easy.  .............................Lynn

Hi again,
Spent a couple of days out of wifi range so I couldn't blog, but we are back. We spent a great day off at Craig and Lori Carlisle's cottage - I needed it! Swimming in the lake, a nice boat tour of the lake and a long, luxurious dinner in their screened in dining room. A very nice break. Yesterday was a challenge - hot and humid with a few weak spells for me. But, I got through it - determination is a great incentive. We spent last night (and tonight) at Charleston Lake Provincial Park and I'm ready for today walking from north of Lansdowne to a little west of Landowne. I'll posting every chance that I get. After today, we should be back in wifi range for most of the rest of the walk. ............................Lynn

Hi people,
Spent a hot night camping at an ESSO station in Westport. It was nice of them to accommodate for the night. Headed out early this morning approx. 7:15 and walked south from there, through Newboro. Had a mixture of rain, harder rain, thunder but no lightning, and then hot sticky sunny afternoon. Made to our overnight stay at the Carlisle Castle by the Lake! Lol! Craig and Lori Carlisle are hosting tonight's stay and my first scheduled day off tomorrow See you on the road................................................................xo..Lynn.

Here we are "camping" in Westport tonight. This was the first hot day and it took a bunch out of me but I kept up with the water and just had a cool shower, so I'm feeling better. Walked from Port Elmsley to about 12km west of Perth today. Thanks to everyone for the words of encouragement. It really does keep me going. Rob says that it's one of my short days tomorrow then a scheduled day off on Friday at Craig and Lori Carlisle's cottage. (Can't wait to sit on the dock and read a book.) Heading to the little hamlet of Crosby tomorrow. Talk then .................. big hugs ....................................Lynn

Made it to Smiths Falls! Legs are sore today, but still strong. The air is heavy here due to forest fires in Quebec! Mad me fell lethargic!. Oakley is working here this week and found us. We had great little visit! It gets lonely on the road sometimes. It was nice to have a hug from my Baby.

Me Again,
Made it to Merrickville today and we set out for Smiths Falls tomorrow. I was motoring and pumped throughout my walk. Hoping to see Oakley tomorrow at some point when we arrive in Smiths Falls. He is working there. That will keep me going. So many people waving and honking and a lady (also named Lynn!) got out of her car while her friend snapped photos of us shaking hands and giving me a hug. I was touched.

Goodnight for now .... Lynn

We're in Martintown just having lunch and a rest - well ... Lynn's having a rest. We had a great send off at Alex's store at 9:30 this morning - about 15 people there. Cheryl walked with Lynn all the way to Summerstown Road. We met Hanz Schulz at his driveway on the King's Road and he had some words of inspiration and encouragement. I'll post some pics when we get a faster connection.
